Recently I did the fundamentals of character design course at CGMA, and this was one of the assignments, to design a hero racoon, but I think mine is more to a happy racoon.

Here is an image I've made for the intro of the soap opera "Pecado Mortal", but you can barely see it in the footage!
The image was supposed to be a flyer for a strip club, my main source of inspiration for this one was the blaxploitation movie posters!
It was a really fun intro to make, I had to fly to Rio de Janeiro to help with the filming providing storyboards on sight!
and here is the intro:

Artwork for a new series in the works by my friend Thomas Gorence. It's a spinoff of Time Samplers, but it's extremely unique, and will stand on its own! More updates soon. You can find more about time samplers at http://timesamplers.com/

So, I'm in Toronto now doing the Imaginism workshop, and this was my first day homework! It's amazing to hear about Bobby Chiu's experience, and to learn directly from him and Thierry Lafontaine it's really something else, I'm loving it!
Also here is the sketch process for this piece!
Hope you like it friends!

Here are some quick grayscale studies I decided to do, spending something beetween 10 or 15 minutes with each one. The last one took me a bit of more time because I decided to work more on it! Strangely these studies started with an alien and ended with a civil war commander somehow!

Here are some storyboards I did for this new show called Dona Xepa. The first idea wich was someting like the intro of "lord of war" was rejected. So we had to work on a second idea that wich made to the final product.
You can watch the intro here:

Now this one I had to complete real quick! I was asked to illustrate the history of a little indian boy, that fell in the river and was saved by being pulled by his hair, after that he never cut his hair anymore since then. I would have to make it in a comicbook style to be animated later. So I did a real quick character study and thumbnails.
Then moved on to the final piece.
